环氧地坪漆涂料工程翻修的两种原因，一是原有涂环氧地坪漆层的陈旧、老化：二是更新的需要。 旧环氧地坪漆涂膜的清除需要了解旧涂膜的老化程度与新环氧地坪漆涂层的相容性，对严重老化的环氧地坪漆涂层可用水浸泡、冲洗后用油灰刀铲除。溶剂型环氧地坪漆涂料形成的地坪漆涂层表面致密，须用钢丝刷或电动砂轮等机械方法剔除。 对地板漆涂层并未老化，仅因更新需要而进行翻修的地坪漆工程，主要考虑新老地坪漆涂层的相容性.相容性好的话，只须将表面进行清洗，待干燥后进行地坪漆涂饰施工。如相容性差，在重新涂饰过程中，原地坪漆涂料易起皮，脱落，则旧环氧地坪漆涂膜应按上述方法全部清除。
